RIVERSIDE FOUNDATION

RIVERSIDE FOUNDATION AUXILIARY

The Riverside Foundation Auxiliary was established in 1987. The purpose of the
Auxiliary is to support the goals of the Riverside Foundation.

These goals are met through several specific means:

I. Fundraising

The Auxiliary conducts several fundraising activities throughout the year.

The major fundraiser is a Gala held in Spring of each year, at Marriott's Lincolnshire Resort.
It is a formal evening event including dinner, silent and live auctions
and entertainment. Other events held periodically are the Holiday House Walk
and a Spring or Fall Luncheon.

II. Volunteer Activities:

Activities that benefit the residents of Riverside Foundation directly include
the "special friend program", Fourth of July festivities, recreational exercise
programs (Jazzercise) and birthday and holiday celebrations.

Membership categories include both Active and Sustaining members. Active members
participate in the ongoing activities of the Auxiliary. While Sustaining members are not
obligated to participate as part of their membership, they are welcomed and encouraged
to share in any and all activities. Membership is renewable each year by July 1st.

All members receive a membership handbook, a monthly newsletter, periodic newsletters
of the Riverside Foundation and a schedule of the Auxiliary monthly meetings and notice
of upcoming events. Tours of the agency sites are encouraged of all new members. To
receive more information call the Business Office at 634-3973 and you will be put in
contact with the Membership Chairman of the Auxiliary.
